Do I need a consultation before booking a treatment?
Yes — a consultation is required for all new clients. It's how we make sure any treatment is genuinely right and safe for you, and how we build a plan that's honest about what you actually need.

Does my consultation cost anything?
Your consultation is included at no extra cost when you book treatment for the same day. Prefer to come just for a consultation first? That's £40, fully redeemable against any treatment you go on to have — and there's never any obligation to book.

What happens during a consultation?
We talk through your goals, assess your face and skin, discuss suitable options honestly (including if the answer is "less than you were expecting"), and give you a clear plan and price before you decide anything.

How do I know which treatment is right for me?
That's exactly what the consultation is for — you don't need to arrive knowing the answer.

Can I bring someone with me to my consultation or appointment?
Yes, you're welcome to bring a friend or family member for support.

Safety & suitability

Are your treatments safe?
Safety and a considered, conservative approach come first in every treatment plan — from your initial consultation through to aftercare.

Are you insured?
Yes — Dxy's Clinic is fully insured through PolicyBee.

Who shouldn't have aesthetic treatments?
Suitability depends on individual health history — for example, pregnancy, breastfeeding, certain medications and allergies can affect suitability for specific treatments. This is always discussed fully at consultation.

What products do you use?
We only use licensed, medical-grade products — never unlicensed or counterfeit products.

During & after treatment

Does treatment hurt?
Most clients describe mild discomfort rather than pain. Numbing cream is used where appropriate to keep you comfortable.

How long does a typical appointment take?
Most treatments take 30–45 minutes, including consultation time. Facial Balancing plans may take longer depending on what's included.

What's the downtime for my treatment?
This varies by treatment — full downtime information is on each treatment page, and we'll always talk you through what to expect for your specific plan.

What aftercare will I be given?
Every treatment includes clear aftercare guidance and a follow-up check-in, plus a direct way to contact us if you have any concerns.

What if I have a concern after treatment?
Get in touch straight away — we'll always make time to see you or advise you if something doesn't feel right.

Complications & safety net

What happens if something goes wrong?
Complications are rare with a considered, conservative approach, but we take them seriously — we have a clear process for assessing and managing any concern promptly, including onward referral if ever needed.

What if I'm not happy with my results?
Talk to us — we offer a follow-up review with every treatment specifically so we can address this together.

Can filler be reversed?
Yes — hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if ever needed. See our Filler Dissolving page.
